I could not agree more with the assertion that mediation is a tiny fraction of the cost of litigation and SO much more personal. The couple is in charge of the result instead of a judge telling them what to do. I figured it out the other day that I have saved the 200 couples I have worked with over $7.5 million in attorney fees by doing mediation instead of litigation. Mediation IS the best answer for 85% of the couples getting divorced.
